“The Case” consists of over 50 photographs, accompanied by three essays by Agnieszka Tarasiuk, Katarzyna Wąs and Anna Orłowska, showing the intricate stories of selected Polish castles and palaces – their past functions, current applications and perverse transformations.
She graduated in Photography from the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Łódź (2011) and at the Institute of Creative Photography at the University of Silesia in Opava (2013). Winner of the Photo Global scholarship at the School of Visual Arts in New York (2013). Her works have been shown, among others in: CSW U-jazdowski in Warsaw, Exile Gallery in Berlin, Panoptikon gallery in Stockholm, at the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyeres (FR), at the Musée de l’Elysée (CH), at the Aperture Foundation (USA) or Fundació Joan Miró (E).
Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2010, 2013, 2017). Nominated for the Discovery Award at the Rencontres d’Arles 2015 (FR) festival, in 2017 she received the Overseas Award at the Higashikawa International Photography Festival (JP). He collaborates with the East Gallery.
