The photographs show items found by the artist during her research at the former Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp and the Liban quarry, as well as exhibits on loan from the Geological Museum in Kraków.

The material presented in the book is the next instalment of the project carried out for Krakow Photomonth, presented in 2017 at the exhibition at the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow (04–06.2017).

The photographs are accompanied by an essay by Roma Sendyka.

DIANA LELONEK
Born in 1988, a graduate of the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at the University of Arts in Poznań, PhD in art obtained at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies at the University of Arts in Poznań.

Visual artist. In his work, he deals with the topic of mutual relations between humans and other species and the redefinition of the concept of nature. Engaged in climate action.
